Product + Technical
LEP (Laser-Excited Phosphor) uses a focused blue laser to excite a phosphor element, producing an extremely high-intensity white beam with superior throw compared to LED systems.
LEDs emit light broadly with high Lumens (~1200lm) and a candela of ~45,000 for short-range identification, creating more spill. In contrast, LEP projects a concentrated low Lumen (~300lm) but long-range beam with over 100,000 candela — ideal for long-range identification and illumination.
Our lights use standard 18350 or 18650 lithium-ion rechargeable cells, depending on the model. Always use quality protected cells for best performance.
Yes, our weapon-mounted models are compatible with Surefire® tailcaps, Arisaka® mounts, and Unity® switches.
Approximately 45 minutes on the 18350 model, and up to 1 hour on the 18650 variant under standard use.
Warranty + Support
Unused products in original condition may be returned within 15 days of delivery. Custom or modified items are non-returnable.
Firebird products are backed by a limited lifetime warranty covering manufacturing defects and normal field use.
