RMA and Warranty Policy
Firebird Electro-Optics RMA Policy
Firebird Electro-Optics LLC (“Firebird,” “we,” or “our”) stands behind the performance and durability of our lighting systems. This Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Policy outlines how to return, repair, or replace Firebird products purchased directly from Firebird or from an authorized dealer.
1. Warranty Coverage
Firebird products are covered under a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
This warranty does not cover:

Misuse, abuse, or modification

Improper installation, wiring, or power source use

Normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage

Unauthorized repairs or alterations

Accidents, fire, water, or environmental damage
If a valid claim is received within the warranty period, Firebird will, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective product with the same or comparable model.
2. How to Request an RMA
To begin a return or warranty claim, you must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Returns without an RMA number will not be accepted.
Step 1: Submit an RMA Request
Email contact@firebirdeo.com with the subject line “RMA Request.”
Include your order number, product serial number (if applicable), proof of purchase, and a detailed description of the issue.
Step 2: Receive RMA Authorization
Our support team will review your request within 3–5 business days.
If approved, you’ll receive an RMA number and shipping instructions.
Step 3: Ship Your Product
Pack the product securely to prevent damage.
Clearly mark the RMA number on the outside of the package.
Ship to the address provided by our support team. Unauthorized or unlabeled packages may be refused.
3. Inspection and Processing
Returned products are inspected by our technicians within 7–10 business days of receipt.
If the issue is covered under warranty, Firebird will repair or replace the product at no cost to you (excluding shipping to Firebird).
If the issue is outside warranty coverage, we will contact you with available repair or replacement options and any associated costs before proceeding.
4. Refunds and Exchanges
Products purchased directly from FirebirdElectroOptics.com are eligible for a refund or exchange within 30 days of delivery, provided the item is unused, in original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method after inspection.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Non-defective items may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
5. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged unless defective:

Custom-built or modified lights

Discontinued models

Products damaged by misuse or improper installation

Items without verifiable proof of purchase
6. Shipping Responsibility
Customers are responsible for shipping products to Firebird for inspection or repair. We recommend using a trackable shipping method.
Firebird covers return shipping for approved warranty repairs or replacements within the continental United States.
7. Liability Disclaimer
Firebird Electro-Optics LLC is not responsible for loss or damage to products during shipment, nor for any incidental or consequential damages resulting from product use or return.
Our liability is limited to the repair or replacement of defective items under the terms of this policy.
